Glaswegin Last Word Cocktail

The Last Word Cocktail

Made with Glaswegin Tequila Cask Matured Gin.

It's said the Last Word cocktail was first served just before the start of the American Prohibition around 1915.

A bar tender called Frank Fogarty combined gin, green chartreuse (the milder of the two French herbal liqueurs), maraschino liqueur and fresh lime juice.

Here's our twist on this classic. But be warned, it's not for the faint-hearted...

Ingredients:

30ml Glaswegin Tequila Cask Matured Gin

20ml Green Chartreuse liqueur

20ml Maraschino liqueur

20ml lime juice

Method:

Add the gin, green Chartreuse, maraschino liqueur and lime juice into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with a brandied cherry (optional).
