The Glaswegin version of a navy strength gin, bolder in flavour and in strength.
The term Navy Strength originated in the 18th century when the British Navy stored gin on ships alongside gunpowder. The gin's high alcohol content ensured that if the gin barrels spilled, the gunpowder would still explode.
Weegie Strength Glaswegin has a full flavour, and is smooth enough to blend well in cocktails. It can also be enjoyed as a sipper or with your favourite gin mixer.
The higher alcohol content also means that more flavour is captured and imparted in the finished gin than a standard proof spirit.
